Ole & Steen is a Danish bakery, bringing the taste of Denmark to various locations across London. We are working with the brand to amplify their social presence through full Social Media Management, Content Creation and an influencer Ambassador Programme.
To build overall brand awareness to a desired target audience, as well as increase footfall across venues, following exposure through social.
Working very closely with the Ole & Steen team, we devised a strategy for the Ambassador Programme, outlining key focusses per month, such as new products and menus, or new locations. We made sure the focus each month aligned with Ole & Steens social strategy being created by our Social Media Team. By using an ambassador programme, as opposed to a stand alone campaign, we felt as though the content and messaging would be more likely to resonate with the desired audience.
It also allowed the Ambassadors to showcase different areas of the business, from going for breakfast, to a quick takeaway coffee. We shortlisted Influencers that had a focus on food, particularly cafes, with strong engagement coupled with a minimum of 5,000 followers. At the beginning, we started with 8 Ambassadors, with plans to grow to 24 Ambassadors after six months of the programme being active.
Following the Ambassador visits, a total of 30 posts and 128 stories went live on Instagram documenting their experience monthly, with a combined reach of 412,059 people. Posts were authentic in their tone, and interesting in their nature – successfully increasing brand awareness to Ole & Steen’s desired target audience, along with increasing footfall in their venues.
